The 2nd OCEANS Symposium Was Held

On June 24, 2026, we held "The 2nd OCEANS Symposium — Pursuing 'Down-to-Earth AI Development' with the Maritime Industry: First-Year Outcomes and the Next Steps Expanding through BRIDGE" at MO Hall, Convention Center, Suita Campus, The University of Osaka. We welcomed a large audience from a wide range of fields, including the maritime community, companies, research institutions, and students, and the event came to a successful close. Through the keynote lectures, the report on our first-year outcomes, the poster session, and the panel discussion, it was a day for sharing the achievements of AI research arising from the maritime industry's front lines, as well as our outlook for the future. We sincerely thank everyone for their support and attendance.
